About the Founder
Sahara DerKourkian
I’ve spent my career at the intersection of human behavior, leadership, and organizational change — first as a Director of Learning & Development, then as a Global Director of Health and Wellbeing, leading a risk assessment center during the pandemic.
What has most shaped my career are my five top strengths: Strategic, Command, Ideation, Activator, and Futuristic. They allow me to see around corners, anticipate ten steps ahead, envision what’s possible, and build what works.
I bring this lens to today’s workplace shift: the Great Flattening. Companies are widening spans of control and putting more responsibility on less experienced managers. Without the right support, that model creates risk. My work races ahead of the Great Flattening, writing a new playbook for how to nourish talent, develop leaders, and support new-in-career managers as the pioneers they are destined to become.
Regardless of how the work experience shifts through time, the reality of the manager being the center of an employee's corporate experience remains. And the wellbeing of each employee has, is, and will continue to be the force multiplier for any organization that believes that their people are their greatest asset.
